Tree of Angels has a long history. The tradition started 25 years ago at the Milwaukee Hospice Residence, the predecessor of Aurora Zilber Family Hospice, a nurse at the facility made an angel in memory of the hospice’s first patient and hung in the hospice during the holiday season. When Aurora Zilber Family Hospice was built in 2005, family and friends took the opportunity to remember a loved one by hanging an angel on our evergreen trees.
When you join us for Tree of Angels this December, you'll help support team member and volunteer training, bereavement services and more. You'll also be among family and friends, both new and old – and the angels who mean so much in your life.
