Thank you for celebrating the angels in our lives during Tree of Angels

Thanks to the generosity of 750 guests and supporters, we raised $45,000 at our Tree of Angels Remembrance Ceremony to benefit Aurora Zilber Family Hospice and Home Hospice Care. Nearly 650 loved ones were honored at the event held on Wednesday, Dec. 4. Your gifts help provide compassionate and extraordinary hospice care for patients and families when they need us the most.
Tree of Angels is a wonderful holiday tradition that has a long history. The tradition started 25 years ago at the Milwaukee Hospice Residence, the predecessor of Aurora Zilber Family Hospice, a nurse at the facility made an angel in memory of the hospice’s first patient and hung in the hospice during the holiday season. When Aurora Zilber Family Hospice was built in 2005, family and friends took the opportunity to remember a loved one by hanging an angel on our evergreen trees.
